 It's Time for Some Heart Work!
MissionThe mission of LCC's Heart 2 Heart outreach program is to provide relief to women in crisis, in hope of permanently altering their lives for the better. Since 2007, LakeCountyCares has assembled and delivered more than 1,050 personal hygiene kits for women in the care of the following agencies: A Safe Place, the Lake County Haven, Holy Family Food Pantry, Women's Residential Services, NICASA , PADS, House of Peace and Zacharias Center.

This year's event will take place on Friday, February 8 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest. Volunteers will help assemble 500 care packages for men, women and children in transition, make Valentines, and enjoy refreshments. If you would like to attend, please email info@lakecountycares with your name and address and the names of any guests by February 7th.
Thank you to the many volunteers who have conducted toiletry drives to assist with this outreach program. We have more donations than ever before!
